Good grip on the trails

I got the X-Talon 212 shoes a couple weeks ago. They felt pretty comfy right out of the box and the grip was solid on the muddy trails. Delivery only took 4 days, so that was nice.

Fastlift 360 are good for lifting

I ordered the Fastlift 360 weightlifting shoes last month. The ordering process on the website was straightforward and they shipped them pretty quick, got them in about 5 days. The shoes fit true to size for me, a little snug at first but they broke in quickly. The stability during squats and deadlifts is a big step up from my old trainers. They feel really solid. I had a quick question about sizing before I bought them and customer support got back to me the next day.

Hey, thinking of grabbing a pair of the Trailfly G 270s. How do these compare to like, Hoka or something for overall comfort on longer runs? And what's the deal with their sizing, true to size or should I size up/down?

T Tom 3 months ago
I found them pretty true to size for my usual running shoe fit, maybe a tiny bit snug if you're between sizes, I'd go up. Super different feel than Hoka though, Hoka is way more cushiony. These are more about ground feel and grip, really depends on what you prefer for trails.

Yeah, definitely go by their size chart on the website if you're unsure, they have a pretty good one. As for comparison, they're much firmer than Hoka, less plush. More responsive though, especially with that graphene grip. Great for technical stuff but maybe not if you like max cushion.

Quick question on their discounts. I saw something about a first order deal, how much is that usually? And can I stack that with the Blue Light Card discount, cause I've got one of those too.

The first order deal is usually 10-15%, nothing huge. But nah, you can't stack codes. They're pretty strict about one code per order. So you'd have to pick between that or your Blue Light Card one, probably use whichever gives a better percentage.

Pretty sure they don't let you combine discounts, that's what I ran into during Black Friday. Either the new customer one or the Blue Light Card, not both. The Blue Light is usually 15% off regular price stuff, so that's probably your best bet unless the first order one is higher for some reason today.
